Personal Loans in particular are very popular online and their are a number of tools to help you quickly compare the best rates on offer.   Many people are shopping around for loans to consolidate their debt from expensive overdrafts and credit card bills (that charge anything from 10-20% often) and converting them to a single loan at a lower rate.

 Top 5 Car Loans

Most garages do car financing and while they may offer you a good deal there's no harm in shopping around, after all you're talking about big numbers when you buy a car so a small change in a car loan rate could make a lot of difference.

 Top 5 Credit Cards

There are all sorts of different types of credit cards with low interest rates or cash back offers, but by far the most popular are the interest free offers.  These will vary but often give you something like 6 months interest free on any balance you transfer from your old card, and also sometimes a similar interest free period on new purchases.

Such a break from interest can be hugely beneficial to helping to get credit card balances down after heavy periods of spending like at Christmas.  Below are the current top 5.

The other types of card such as cards for people with bad credit or who get turned down frequently are covered on the Credit Cards page

 Top 5 Current Accounts

In recent years the increased competition in the online banking market has seen many of the new online banks introduce some amazing deals.  As well as cash incentives for opening accounts, you are also no able to get some pretty decent interest rate on your current account, which traditionally never really earned much interest at all.

Rates vary all the time but if you're with one of the high street banks, and they haven't got their act together yet then you might be getting something like 0.2% interest, whereas if you shop around you might get something more in the range of 2-4%.
