With Napster gone there are several other sites that provide peer to peer file sharing which allow you to swap MP3 music files with other people all over the world through getting access to a specific part of their computer that they have authorised for public access and where they store their MP3s. The good thing is that you don’t have to swap anything so if you are starting out it doesn’t matter. The bad thing is that the software you need to install to do the file sharing can install some other pretty dodgy stuff on your PC such as prdoducts from Gator that can fill your screens with advertising. Care is advised.
